It's a summer rainy day in 2018 a day on the road. The campground we stayed at had a lot of woods. Papa and I around 4:30.
So We drove to a campground in Ohio so we parked the camper.
Papa said “ I'm setting up the camper” I said “ok papa the camper.Looks awesome and the site looks
good too”Plus the slide out gives us more room. A little bit later papa started a fire.
So then i asked papa if i could go for a walk with Tom papa said to me yes riley you can go for a walk. So I grabbed my backpack and grabbed some snacks axe multi tool and some drinks and then i was GONE AND I MEAN GONE!! out the camper and in the woods in 2 seconds.
Not long after tom and I were hiking in the woods and then WE SAW A SNAKE.Tom told me to stay calm and walk away slowly and when we got far enough away from the snake we ran back to the camper and Tom told me “if you can't see your feet then don't go there” so then i said “ok” Tom that snake was really scary now i have a better understanding of nature. And then i asked Tom if all snakes were poisonous Tom said no not all snakes are poisonous. But you still have to respect nature. Now i know to respect nature no matter what because of what Tom taught me.
