The Shining Star is a PTO-sponsored school blog where one blog post is posted per day so that the student's work can "shine"! Students work independently or with a partner so you may see more than one author per post. Be sure to subscribe to the Shining Star so you can show your child their blog post when it comes out and see if they wrote about the topic you both decided on!

The Pineapple Robots and The Watermelon People by Colin M., Ayaan N., and Riley H.
One day in an Apple Pie-Copter the Pineapple Robots were getting ready for war with the Zombie Dinosaurs when the Apple Pie-Copter went down. The Pineapples jumped out and pulled the crown cords for their parachutes. When they landed they took out there Core Cannons and secure the area. The remaining Watermelon people were taken into safe hiding. Suddenly they all heard some thing and saw a giant 50 foot Zombie Dinosaur leading an army of 10 food Zombie Dinosaurs. they shot cores at them and many exploded.
