Students work independently or with a partner so you may see more than one author per post. Be sure to subscribe to the Shining Star so you can show your child their blog post when it comes out and see if they wrote about the topic you both decided on!

The Story of Demeter by Audrey F.
Once there was a Greek goddess named Demeter. She was the goddess of crops and corn. Her dater named Persephone. Demeter had two sisters and three brothers. There names were Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Zeus, and Hestia. One day the boys decide that they would find a place to live somewhere. All gods and goddess have many abilities. Here is one. All gods and goddesses can turn into any animal or thing they want. One day two little girls name Audrey and Dalya said one lunch let's summons a god or a goddess. At the same time we jinx each other and said Demeter.
